Applications and grade selection

SPO-30 is evaluated as an oil-compatible low-foam polyether, lubricity aid, dispersing component or intermediate in industrial and selected formulation systems. Performance depends on propoxylation level, oil phase, temperature, water content, co-additives and the exact commercial composition.

• Compare hydroxyl value, viscosity, water and solubility before testing pigment dispersion, lubricity, film feel or foam behavior.
• For personal-care evaluation, require documentation for the exact grade and test sensory, compatibility and finished-product stability.
• Do not rely on estimated boiling point, density or transport statements copied from an unrelated or incompletely identified source.

Storage and handling

Store closed in a cool, dry, ventilated area within the supplier’s stated temperature range. Protect from contamination and moisture, and follow the exact grade instructions for warming, homogenization and representative sampling.

Safety, documentation and procurement

Use the supplied SDS for classification, PPE, transport, spill response and disposal; do not infer hazard class from the CAS number alone. Include the application, hydroxyl range, reference COA, volume, package and destination in the inquiry.
