Plastic Additives

Plastic additives are incorporated into polymer systems to improve processing, flexibility, stabilization, fire performance, lubrication, dispersion, coupling, and long-term durability. This category includes hindered phenol and phosphite antioxidants, DOP and DOTP plasticizers, flame retardants, lubricants such as PETS, silicone materials, silanes, and selected polymer-processing aids.

Choice and dosage depend on the resin, processing temperature, residence time, outdoor exposure, migration limits, color requirements, and applicable product regulations. Specify the polymer type, production process, target property, current additive package, and test standard. Compatibility and performance should be confirmed through laboratory compounding and production trials.
