Handling & Safety Precautions

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Always wear safety glasses, gloves, and a lab coat when handling the raw viscous liquid to avoid direct contact with eyes or prolonged contact with skin.
• Eye Contact: In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water. It can cause mild irritation in its concentrated form.
• Viscosity Warning: D-Panthenol is very thick and sticky (like honey). It can be difficult to pour when cold. Heating it slightly in a water bath (approx. 40°C) makes it much easier to handle and incorporate into the water phase of your formulation.
