Magnesium Sulfate Heptahydrate ($MgS{O}_4\cdot 7H_{2}O$MgSO4​⋅7H2​O) is a highly soluble, neutral salt. Often referred to as Epsom Salt, our heptahydrate crystals are produced through the reaction of high-purity magnesium oxide or magnesium carbonate with sulfuric acid, followed by a meticulous crystallization and centrifugal drying process.

Storage Conditions

• Environment: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area.
• Protection: Magnesium Sulfate Heptahydrate can lose water of crystallization (effloresce) in very dry air or cake in high humidity. Keep bags tightly sealed when not in use.
• Stacking: Store on pallets to avoid ground moisture. Do not stack too high to prevent pressure-induced caking of the bottom bags.
• Avoid: Keep away from direct sunlight and incompatible materials like strong oxidizing agents.

Safety Precautions

• General Handling: Non-toxic and non-flammable. However, avoid generating dust during handling.
• Personal Protection: Wear safety glasses and protective gloves to prevent mild skin or eye irritation. If dust is present, use a standard N95/P2 dust mask.
• First Aid: In case of eye contact, rinse with plenty of water for 15 minutes. If skin irritation occurs, wash with soap and water.
• Ingestion: If large quantities are swallowed, seek medical advice. It is commonly used as a laxative, but industrial grades should never be consumed.
