Product Introduction

Trimellitic Anhydride (TMA) (CAS 552-30-7) is supplied as an aromatic multifunctional anhydride for trimellitate plasticizer and industrial resin manufacture. We offer TMA for production routes using a reactive aromatic intermediate in polyester, polyester-imide, polyamide-imide, alkyd and selected epoxy-related systems. It is quoted as a process raw material, not as a finished coating additive.

Trimellitate plasticizer manufacture for flexible PVC, including wire-and-cable and other heat-resistant vinyl compounds.
Polyester powder-coating resin and water-reducible or solvent-borne alkyd resin production.
Polyester-imide and polyamide-imide resin routes for electrical-insulation varnishes and wire enamels.
Specified epoxy and specialty resin systems requiring trimellitic anhydride as a reactive intermediate.
