Polyacrylamide, frequently referred to as PAM, is a versatile water-soluble polymer utilized as a high-performance industrial ingredient. It functions through a mechanism of charge neutralization and inter-particle bridging, making it indispensable for industrial wastewater clarification and solids-liquid separation processes. This flocculant effectively aggregates suspended particles in aqueous systems, facilitating rapid sedimentation in mining, paper manufacturing, and municipal treatment facilities. We provide competitive factory pricing and ensure customized specifications regarding molecular weight and charge density. Each batch is supported by full documentation including MSDS, TDS, COA, and is available for bulk supply to global industrial partners.

Product Description
Specifications: anionic, cationic, non-ionic and amphoteric polyacrylamide;
Appearance: white powdery particles or colorless transparent liquid;
Technical indicators: molecular weight 5 million-23 million, in line with national standards;
Applications:
Purification and coagulation treatment of urban domestic sewage;
It includes the purification and treatment of various industrial wastewater such as electroplating, papermaking, printing and dyeing, bleaching and dyeing, tanning, food, and power plant desulfurization;
Dewatering and drying of all kinds of sludge.
Features:
Polyacrylamide is an organic polymer flocculant, compared with other flocculant products, so it can be adsorbed on the surface of colloidal particles through cross-linking, charge neutralization, etc., so that the colloidal particles can gather, form flocs, and separate them from the water body.
How to use:
Dilute the product to a 0.1% concentration before use:
Dilution can be done with ordinary tap water, no need to heat, if slightly heated.
Dilution stirring can be done mechanically, with a speed of about 200 rpm: gas stirring can also be introduced.
The dosage of the product in sewage sludge treatment is generally about 2 kg/ton of sludge, in order to achieve the best effect and economic benefits, the best scheme and dosage should be determined through experiments.
Store the product in a cool place as much as possible.

FAQ - Technical & Supply Chain
-
Q:
Do PAM and Polyacrylamide refer to the same chemical substance?
A: Yes. PAM is the standard industrial abbreviation for Polyacrylamide. Both terms identify the polymer classified under CAS 9003-05-8, including its anionic, cationic, and non-ionic forms. -
Q:
Is this product intended for use as a primary coagulant or a flocculant?
A: While it can assist in coagulation, it is typically applied as a flocculant in industrial wastewater clarification. Its high molecular weight allows it to bridge neutralized particles into larger flocs for more efficient removal.
