n-Butyl Acetate (CAS 123-86-4), also called butyl acetate or n-butyl ethanoate, is supplied as a medium-volatility ester solvent for industrial coatings, inks, adhesives and chemical-process use. We quote the normal-butyl isomer specifically; it is not substituted with iso-, sec- or tert-butyl acetate where the formulation calls for n-butyl acetate.
