Product Description

Isoalkyloxypropylamine Oxide surfactant is a unique low-foam, high-decontamination product that does not contain flammable solvents.
Note: This product is a low-foam surfactant, but not a defoamer. If the formulation contains a foaming agent, whether or not it contains AO-455 products, the final formulation may still have high foaming properties.

AO-455 is used in the precision cleaning industry of tin plating additives, industrial hard surface cleaning, electroplating pretreatment, etc.

Applications
• All-purpose cleaners
• Bathroom cleaners
• Carpet and upholstery cleaners
• Dishwashing products
• Glass cleaners
• Industrial cleaners
• Low foam cleaners
• Low VOC cleaners
• Cleaning agents for vehicles

Isoalkyloxypropylamine Oxide
• Low foaming
• High stain removal capacity for both hard surfaces and fabrics
• Good degreasing properties

FAQ - Technical & Supply Chain

  • Q:

Does Isoalkyloxypropylamine Oxide belong to the standard high-foaming alkyl amine oxide class?

A: Isoalkyloxypropylamine Oxide is verified under CAS 218141-49-2 as a specialized ether amine oxide with branched alkyl chains, distinguishing it from linear Lauramine Oxide to ensure a significantly lower foaming profile suitable for dynamic cleaning systems.
  • Q:

Is Isoalkyloxypropylamine Oxide compatible with high-pressure spray cleaning applications?

A: Yes, Isoalkyloxypropylamine Oxide is typically applied in Clean-in-Place (CIP) and high-turbulence spray systems because it maintains strong detergency and stability without generating the unmanageable foam associated with conventional surfactants.
