Dioctyl Terephthalate (DOTP) is supplied as a general-purpose plasticizer for PVC and other polymer systems, positioned as a non-ortho-phthalate alternative to traditional Dioctyl Phthalate (DOP) and other ortho-phthalate plasticizers. It is commonly used in flexible PVC formulations where processability, compatibility, and balanced mechanical properties are required. It is the di(2-ethylhexyl) ester of Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA).
Typical downstream applications include wire and cable compounds, films and sheets, synthetic leather, and coated fabrics. DOTP is generally supplied in liquid form suitable for direct use in industrial compounding processes. Standard export packaging, bulk supply, and technical documentation such as COA, TDS, and SDS are available to support procurement and formulation work.
