Product Description

Carbohydrazide, also known as 1,3-diaminourea, is a white cylindrical crystal with a molecular weight of 90.08 and a molecular formula of CH6N4O. Its melting point is 153-154°C, it is easily soluble in water and alkaline in aqueous solution, and is insoluble in organic solvents such as ethanol. It is chemically highly reducible, reacts with acid to form salts, and can be converted into highly explosive carbonyl azide in the presence of nitrite acid.

This substance is widely used in rocket propellants, boiler water oxygen scavengers, rubber antioxidants and metal passivators, and is also used as a chemical intermediate in pharmaceuticals, dyes and other industries. As an oxygen scavenger, it has high efficiency and low toxicity characteristics, and needs to be sealed and stored in a cool, dry and ventilated place. The hazard codes are Xn and N, and it is classified as UN3077 when it comes to transportation, and relevant safety regulations must be followed during use.
