Aminotrimethylene phosphonic acid, chemical substance, molecular formula isC₃H₁₂NO₉P₃。 Solid aminotrimethylene phosphonic acid is easily soluble in water, with a melting point higher than 195°C and a decomposition temperature of 200~212°C. Liquid products are easily soluble in water. One of the commonly used varieties in organophosphonic acid, it has the best effect on calcium carbonate to prevent scale. It has good corrosion inhibition properties when used at high concentrations.

Performance and Usage

Chelation performance: ATMP has good chelation ability and can effectively bind to metal ions, preventing mineral deposition and scale formation in the water.

Anti-scale performance: ATMP can effectively prevent the formation of scale in water, especially the formation of calcium carbonate scale. This makes it widely used in circulating cooling water systems, boiler water treatment, oilfield water treatment, etc.
